Texas Horse Park

Directions

The purpose of the Texas Horse Park is the development of a multi-disciplinary equestrian facility as a component of the Trinity River Corridor Project. This equestrian park will be designed to host local and world-class events, to establish inner-city and educational outreach programs and to provide economic benefit to the City of Dallas as well as adding to the cultural, recreational and ecological impetus of the Great Trinity Forest.

As it is currently conceived, the Texas Horse Park proposal is to build it in phases with the first phase including: a Visitor Center, two Horse Barns, one Covered Showcase Arena and one Covered Arena, Covered Warm-up Arena, Uncovered Exercise Arena, Trailhead Staging Facility and other administrative and maintenance areas. The Dallas City Council is currently evaluating the solicitation of proposals for a private operation of this proposed City facility.
