First organized in 1994, the Trinity River Coridor Citizens Committee (TRCCC), made up of hundreds of volunteers, provided input for the various elements of the Trinity River Coridor Project. TRCCC members were divided into four distinct subcommittees: Economic Development, Transportation, Flood Protection and Recreation. In October 2001, the TRCCC was merged with a new non-profit organization known as Trinity Commons.
